DORJ is a Tel-Aviv based electro-soul indie-pop artist with a unique vocal signature, riding on a diverse range of synth-heavy, heart wrenching beats from a plethora of worldwide producers. An up and coming musician, who hit the scene in 2015 with his poignant EP FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE (a story in three parts), picked up by RADIO 1’s Jericho Keys and headlined on the worldwide music blog scene (CLASH, COMPLEX, SPIN, etc) DORJ has since returned from a European tour which took him, amongst places, to the Berghain (Berlin), leading on to the Swiss and German summer festival circuit. On his return to his home town, DORJ hit the studio to polish off the finishing touches to his exciting new project ‘Hipnotized’, in collaboration with Haifa based maverick producer Shuzin. Characterised by heavy hip-hop beats overlain with funky synth-chords that moves your soul! ”, Hipnotized‘ is full of intelligent song-writing with direct confessional lyrics that have become part of DORJ’s trademark explorations into the urban soul.
