We started Friska Viljor early in life – as young adults, confused, restless, and without a clear direction. We only knew we needed to write songs, share them with others, and find a place where all that mess could turn into something beautiful.

Now it’s been twenty years of living.

Relationships have come and gone. We stumbled, found our footing, lost it again, and returned. Sometimes we’ve walked side by side, sometimes alone. We’ve grown older. We’ve become parents. The world has changed – and so have we.

But one thing has stayed constant: Our band. And you.

From the first clubs that shaped us – sweaty rooms, loud choruses, that feeling of “this is ours” – to seeing new faces in the front row today. On the last tours, we even started noticing children at the shows. And we can’t imagine a clearer, more beautiful sign of the journey we’ve made together: that the music has carried through breakups and parties, through everyday life and fresh starts – and into whatever comes next.

In June 2026, Friska Viljor will play five special shows in a stripped-back setup: just Daniel Johansson and Joakim Sveningsson on stage. No full band. No safety net. Intimate, close, and honest – the songs that carried us, the stories behind them, and an audience that has always been more than an audience.

Five nights. Two people. Twenty years.
