Sommer, Sonne, Sensus!
Während viele zurzeit den Sommerurlaub genießen oder auf Festivals unterwegs sind, wollen wir am 02.08.24 wieder eine unvergessliche Sensus mit euch feiern.
Unser Credo bleibt natürlich unverändert: „Cum as you are – feel fabulous“, also kramt eure heißesten Sommer-Outfits raus und ab ins Forum mit euch! Dieses Mal klappen wir die Sonnenliegen aus und bereiten euch Cocktails vor, um diese sinnliche Sommer Soirée zu etwas ganz besonderem zu machen.
Die Sensus feiert eine positive Einstellung zur Sinnlichkeit, Vielfalt und Offenheit. Egal ob ihr schon Erfahrung mit sinnlichen Partys habt oder neugierig seid, bei uns finden alle einen Platz – egal welches Geschlecht, welche sexuelle Ausrichtung oder Identität. Verbringt mit uns gemeinsam eine unvergessliche Nacht – ob ihr nur zum Tanzen kommt, oder alle Möglichkeiten unserer Räume auskosten wollt. Vieles ist möglich, solange Konsens besteht!
Wir verlagern für unsere Sommer-Sensus die Chill-Area nach draußen und verkleinern dafür etwas den Innenbereich. Das hat zur Folge, dass wir dieses Mal nur einen Darkroom, der für alle nutzbar sein wird, zur Verfügung haben. Auch bei dieser Sensus variieren wir mit unserem Interieur und der Raumgestaltung – es gibt also wieder viel Neues zu entdecken!
Wie gewohnt bewegen wir uns auch dieses Mal irgendwo zwischen House und Techno, haben für euch aber natürlich wieder eine absolute Besonderheit aus dem Hut gezaubert: Wem mitten im Hochsommer noch nicht heiß genug ist, dem wird von Niebla ordentlich eingeheizt. Residentin im Video Club in Bogota und schon auf vielen Stages dieser Welt unterwegs gewesen, weiß sie genau wie sie euch noch mehr zum Schwitzen bringt. Support gibt es von Glue Guy und DNF, die lokal und teils auch deutschlandweit bekannt sind.
Um 20 Uhr startet vorher wieder eine kostenlose Ausstellung, die lokalen Künstler*innen eine Plattform bietet. Deko & Mapping by Himbaer.

Awareness:
Bei den letzten Veranstaltungen wurden wir viel zu unserer Türpolitik befragt. Um da Klarheit zu schaffen, erläutern wir euch hier ein wenig unsere Beweggründe.
Grundsätzlich sind alle Personen willkommen: Wir begrüßen Diversität und freuen uns auf alle Menschen. Unterschiede in Erfahrung, Herkunft, Alter und Aussehen betrachten wir als eine Bereicherung für alle.
Dementsprechend haben RassistInnen, SexistInnen, Nazis und Arschlöcher auf der Sensus jedoch keinen Platz.
Um dafür zu sorgen, dass die Sensus weiterhin eine Veranstaltung ist, bei der sich alle sicher fühlen können, hat sich ein System an der Tür etabliert, bei dem alle Besuchenden zunächst begrüßt und dann gegebenenfalls zur Sensus befragt werden. Dies dient dem Ziel, dass wir die bekannte und geschätzte Wohlfühlatmosphäre aufrechterhalten wollen.
Da Consent, also gegenseitiges Einverständnis, besonders wichtig für sexpositive Partykonzepte ist, achten wir beim Einlass darauf, dass unsere BesucherInnen nicht zu berauscht sind, um das notwendige Maß an Achtsamkeit aufzubringen, das für den bewussten Umgang miteinander benötigt wird.
Diese Entscheidung ist kein Gegensatz zu unserer Offenheit gegenüber verantwortungsbewusstem Konsum. Die Aufklärung auf der Sensus widmet sich auch verschiedenen Substanzen, ihren Wirkungsweisen und einem bewussten Konsumverhalten.
Die zweite Hälfte unseres Slogans lautet “Feel Fabulous” – “Fühl dich fabulös”. Damit wollen wir alle ermuntern, das anzuziehen, worin sie sich am wohlsten und besten fühlen. Wir begrüßen extravagante Outfits, stören uns aber auch nicht an schlichteren Looks. Lediglich Kleidung, die sich gegen unsere Werte richtet, wird an der Tür abgelehnt.
Falls du deine Kleidung vor Ort wechseln möchtest, kannst du das. Für die Dauer der Sensus ist unsere barrierefreie Toilette auch eine Umkleidekabine.
Auf der Party selbst stellen wir ein starkes Awareness-Team, das euch aus dem Hintergrund unterstützt. Das sind keine SittenkontrolleurInnen, sondern freiwillige HelferInnen, die eure Aufenthaltsqualität erhöhen wollen. Die Aufgaben der Awareness sind es, darauf zu achten, dass niemand in Bedrängnis oder Gefahr gerät. Unser Awareness-Team ist für dich da, wenn du besorgt bist, belästigt wirst oder dich überfordert fühlst. Sie sind an den blauen Buttons erkennbar. Die Arbeit der Awareness endet dort, wo professionelle Hilfe beginnen sollte. Sie sind also keine Seelsorger, sondern Unterstützer, die im Zweifel medizinische Hilfe zu Rate ziehen werden.
Du findest eine Awareness-Person am Aufgang zum Darkroom, wo sie das Prinzip erklären, den Zulauf kontrollieren und auf Sauberkeit achten. Außerdem gibt es immer zwei Awareness-Personen, die durch die Veranstaltungsräume gehen und ansprechbar sind.
Solltest du einen Rückzugsraum benötigen, wird dich jemand vom Awarenessteam gerne dorthin begleiten und bei dir bleiben, bis du zurück auf die Party möchtest.

Summer, Sun, Sensus!
While many are currently enjoying their summer vacation or are out and about at festivals, we want to celebrate an unforgettable Sensus with you on 02.08.24.
Our credo remains: „Cum as you are – feel fabulous“, so put on your hottest outfits and join us in the forum! This time we’re unfolding the sun loungers and preparing cocktails to make this sensual summer soirée something very special.
Sensus celebrates a positive attitude towards sensuality, diversity and openness. Whether you already have experience with sensual parties or are curious, there is a place for everyone here – regardless of gender, sexual orientation or identity. Spend an unforgettable night with us – whether you just come to dance or want to enjoy all the possibilities of our rooms. Many things are possible as long as there is consent!
This time we are moving the chill area outside and reducing the size of the indoor area. As a result, we will only have one darkroom available for everyone to use. As always, we will of course be changing the interior – so as usual, there will be plenty of new things to discover!
As always, we’re moving somewhere between house and techno, but of course we’ve got up a specialty for you: For those who don’t find the summer heat intense enough, Niebla will turn up the temperature. As a resident at the Video Club in Bogotá and having performed on many stages around the world, she knows exactly how to make you sweat even more. Support will come from Glue Guy and DNF, who are known locally and throughout Germany.

Awareness:
We have been asked a lot about our door policy at recent events. In order to clarify things a little, we’d like to explain our motives a bit.
Basically, everyone is welcome: we embrace diversity and look forward to welcoming everyone. We see differences in experience, background, age and appearance as an enrichment for everyone.
Accordingly, racists, sexists, nazis and assholes have no place at Sensus.
To ensure that Sensus continues to be an event where everyone can feel safe, a system has been established at the door where all visitors are first greeted and then questioned about Sensus, if deemed necessary. The aim of this is to maintain the familiar and valued feel-good atmosphere.
As consent is particularly important for sex-positive party concepts, we make sure that our visitors are not too intoxicated at the entrance to ensure the necessary level of mindfulness required for conscious interaction.
This decision is not a contradiction to our openness towards responsible consumption. The education at Sensus is also dedicated to various substances, their effects and conscious consumer behavior.
The second half of our slogan is „feel fabulous“. We want to encourage everyone to wear what they feel best and most comfortable in. We welcome extravagant outfits, but don’t mind simpler looks either. Only clothing that goes against our values will be rejected at the door.
If you want to change your clothes on site, you can. For the duration of Sensus, our barrier-free toilet is also a changing room.
At the party itself, we will provide a strong awareness team to support you from the background. These are not chaperones, but volunteers who want to improve the quality of your stay. The role of the awareness team is to make sure that nobody gets into distress or danger. Our awareness team is there for you if you are worried, harassed or feel overwhelmed. You can recognize them by the blue buttons. The work of the awareness team ends where professional help should begin. They are not counselors, but supporters who will seek medical help if necessary.
You will find the awareness staff at the entrance to the darkroom, where they explain the principle, control access and ensure cleanliness. In addition, there are always two awareness staff members who walk through the event rooms and are available to talk to.
If you need a place to retreat, someone from the awareness team will be happy to accompany you there and stay with you until you want to return to the party.
